And without further due, let’s dig into a business class staple, the toiletry bag, and what useful little thingies you can find inside (and how you can improve it!). Find below, the list of carry on toiletries you cannot go without.
TOILETRY BAG
Whether you are a man or a woman, you NEED a toiletry bag with the items below. Let me tell you, first class and business class travellers get them for free and it is a game changer!
Tooth brush and tooth paste

If you are in a long flight you may want to clean your teeth after eating, before bed and/or again when you wake up. If you think it is too much, chewing gum is always an alternative option. (But in all honesty, if you are taking toiletries in your checked in baggage, just move it to the carry on bag, doesn’t cost you anything and it pays off).
Eye shade

How many times have you wished the person who was sitting next to you was not reading? This is THE BEST THING EVER if you want to get proper sleep in a plane. It makes it even better if you combine it with what follows below…
Ear plugs

Along with the eye shades, earplugs will guarantee a better rest/sleep time because it will isolate you to some extent from everything that’s happening around you.
Hand sanitiser and/or wet wipes
you can take some hand sanitiser, or better yet, liquid soap! you can buy small travel size and even individual packets
Planes are soooo dirty!!! Avoid getting sick (and believe me, you can totally get sick in an airport or in a plane). Use the wipes to clean surfaces such as the tray and use hand sanitiser often if you don’t have the chance to wash your hands.
Moistuiriser

Because you are supposed to wash your hands often, they will get dry, so a hand cream or salve will relieve the dryness.
Lip balm

My lips are always cracking so I always carry lip balm with me. However, I recommend everyone to carry one since the A/C can create a dry environment inside the plane (they are complimentary in business class for a reason).
Tissues

This is a staple, really. Here is a list of what-ifs: What if you get a runny nose? What if you go to the toilet and there is no more toilet paper? And if you need to wipe something out and can’t use your wet wipes or you ran out? What if someone next to you is having any of these issues and you feel helpless for the poor person?
Ok, that’s it for volume 2. See you next week, I will talk about entertainment. Because yes, you got to keep yourself busy during a flight.
