Hi, I am Spanish Nomad, aka Patri. I decided I wanted to be a travel blogger a year ago. Like any other travel blogger, I love to explore the world we live in. I was born and raised in Spain and from a young age, I have had the opportunity to travel. I left my home country a few years ago and moved to Australia. Three years after, I moved to the United States and now I live in Mongolia with my husband Dave and my dog Drogo. And because of this nomadic kind of lifestyle that I adore, I decided I would be Spanish Nomad. Some random things I like are being with my dog, drinking tea and eating yummy foods.
About the blog Spanish Nomad
This blog was born out of the idea of sharing my travel experiences and my life overseas. Because it is a recent creation (only one year old) I have been toying with different topics related to travel. My first posts were about places to visit and general travel information. This may have been interesting to some but at some point, I felt that it wasn’t meaningful to me. Therefore, I decided I would focus on responsible travel and everything that it entails. You may be wondering what responsible travel means. It can be a complex topic to tackle since responsible travel covers many subtopics like reducing our ecological footprint, supporting local economies, and respecting different cultures. But at the end of the day, it all boils down to making ethical decisions when travelling around.
In the meantime, I hope that you find inspiration in this blog and it helps you incorporate sustainable practices and activities in your travels.
